There is a distinct kind of alchemy in taking things that were broken, scorched, or seemingly ruined, and turning them into something sacred.
For a long time, I didn't see the alchemy in my own life. I only saw the heat. I saw the moments where circumstances tried to melt me down, the sudden fractures, and the long, quiet nights spent waiting for the smoke to clear. We are all walking libraries of our own histories, bound in skin and memory, but we rarely talk about the chapters we tore out of shame or survival.
I’m changing that here.
Welcome to my journal, and welcome to what is going to be a very long, very honest "chapter book."
The Sanctuary in the Smoke
If you are just finding your way to my corner of the digital world, you might know me through my hands—pouring amber wax into dark glass, blending essential oils of sandalwood, patchouli, and deep midnight vanilla, or curating spaces that feel less like a modern storefront and more like a vintage apothecary tucked away in a gothic cathedral.
Running Spiritualist Sanctuary is more than a business to me; it’s a physical manifestation of everything I’ve learned about healing. Every candle, every custom perfume oil, and every ritual tool carries intention. They are born from a deep love of the moody, the dark academia, the celestial, and the unapologetically mystical.
But I didn't stumble into this craft by accident. You don't learn how to craft scents that soothe the soul without knowing firsthand what it feels like to need that solace yourself.
This space is going to be my unedited truth.
Over the years, life has handed me beauty, heartbreak, profound love, and heavy trauma. It has broken open doors I never wanted pushed open and forced me to rebuild rooms inside myself I didn't know existed. I’ve lived through experiences that could have hardened me into stone, and others that softened me until I felt entirely too exposed to the air.
Good or bad, every single one of those experiences carved the person I am today.
I want this blog to feel like sitting across from me in a dimly lit room filled with the scent of burning palo santo and melting wax, surrounded by old books and heavy velvet curtains. No filters, no performance—just the chapters of a life lived fully, examined deeply, and written in real time.
What Comes Next
This "book" is going to take its time. Some chapters will be heavy with the weight of old shadows; others will taste like salt water, fresh air, and sudden clarity. We will talk about the stars and transits that guide us, the shadows we wrestle with, the art of creating a life with your own two hands, and the messy, beautiful reality of simply surviving and blooming anyway.
Thank you for opening the cover and stepping inside. Let’s see what the next page holds.
